ShareLindsay and I opened our boutique on April 1, 2006.
At our ribbon-cutting, someone said: "Nice shop -- they just need more stuff."
The dabluz boutique fills most of the first floor (there's a wine shop here too) of the Historic Hotel Glenview with great stuff.
We've bagged up some vintage ephemera using collectible game pieces, old postcards, photos, playing cards, book pages, junk and more. We also have new and vintage fabric, trims, zippers & more. We have a case filled with antique sewing supplies and we have a ton of buttons.....and beads!
We have the largest collection of vintage costume jewelry in Mount Carroll! Wear it again or recycle it into your own hand made jewelry. (We'll help!!!)
At the dabluz boutique, we make our jewelry using glass and vintage beads, mixed metals, hardware, vintage costume jewelry, chains, buttons and more....always more.
We have the largest selection of scrapbook paper, glues, ribbons, inks, tools and Uppercase Living accessories (including the latest catalog) in Mount Carroll. We have a whole room dedicated to Scrapbooking!!!
